Open sections use InfraBuild catalogue dimensions (AS/NZS 3679.1); hollow sections use AS/NZS 1163 corner radii. Purlin masses are approximate. Check sizes, lengths and quantities against the design drawings before ordering or cutting.

Material Catalogue
The sections, sizes and plate we work with, by material. Pick a material, then a type. Sizes, dimensions and kg/m come from Settings → Section catalogue.

Stainless and aluminium$/kg, density, stock, grades and labour for 304, 316 and aluminium
A part uses these when its grade says so (304, 316, 6061, 5083…), or when the job's material is set to stainless or aluminium and the drawings don't give a grade. Mild steel uses the Materials table above.

Force uses the air-bending rule F = 1.42 × tensile × t² × length ÷ V. The V-die is picked from your list (about 8t up to 3 mm, 10t to 10 mm, 12t above) and the inside radius is radius ÷ V × V, unless a part sets its own. Flat patterns use the DIN 6935 K-factor.

Laser machinesLaser cost = cutting time × hourly rate
Time per job = cut length ÷ (speed × efficiency) + pierces × (pierce + travel) + loads + setup. Each thickness goes to the machine that cuts it cheapest, unless a job picks one. Speeds start from published fiber-laser charts for each power at the conservative end; replace them with your own as you learn each machine. The tube laser routes the families ticked under Materials.
Nesting and offcutsStock sheets and spacing for the sheet laser, and how plate and sections are charged
Plates are grouped by thickness, material and grade, then nested onto that material's sheet sizes. Flat bar cut from sheet nests in with them. Each sheet uses whichever size wastes least.
